Prime Minister Donald Tusk recommends returning to 5%. VAT rates on food. Currently, food is subject to a zero VAT rate, which is valid until the end of March. The Prime Minister said on Tuesday that talks are being held with the Minister of Finance, Andrzej Domański, who is to work on solutions in this area by the end of the week.
