- The “Plastic tax” and “Sugar tax” implementation was postponed to July 1, 2024.
- VAT rates were increased for certain products, including child products, female hygiene protection, and child seats for motor vehicles.
- Additionally, changes were made to the VAT rate for pellets and excise duties on tobacco.
- The law also addressed VAT aspects related to businesses not adopting international accounting principles and the transfer of goods outside the European Union.
