Turkey’s Revenue Administration has extended the VAT return and payment deadline for taxpayers responsible for VAT deduction (reverse charge) to the 25th of the following month, as per Tax Procedure Law Circular No. 164 of 10 February 2024. This extends the previous deadline of the 21st for submitting VAT Return No. 2 and the 23rd for payment of deducted VAT. The Circular also mentions that the deadline for standard VAT returns and payment was previously extended to the 28th of the following month under Tax Procedure Law Circular No. 149 of 2022.
