- On January 31, DIAN issued Resolution No. 8, extending the deadline for implementing Technical Annex 1.9 of the Electronic Invoice and Annex V1.0 for the electronic equivalent document.
- The resolution adjusts Article 23 and amends Article 62 in Resolution 000165 from 2023.
- Updated deadlines include implementing version 1.9 by May 1, 2024, for e-invoicing entities and a phased schedule for the equivalent electronic document.
- The modifications to the electronic invoicing system cover certification changes, validation of legal names and Tax ID, new credit note operations, currency exchange operations, and more.
- The resolution is undergoing technical evaluation and awaits official publication by DIAN for definitive adaptation dates.
