In late 2023, the Bundesrat and Bundestag encountered a setback as they failed to reach an agreement on amendments to the Growth Opportunities Act, encompassing crucial e-invoice amendments. Consequently, the matter was referred to the Mediation Committee of the Bundestag and Bundesrat. Anticipated to reconvene during its upcoming session on 21 February 2024, the Committee aims to reignite discussions and address the unresolved issues surrounding the legislative amendments.
