- The institution’s experts invited representatives of accounting service companies to collaborate on optimizing technical solutions for the e-Invoice system.
- Two online meetings were held with about 175 attendees to discuss monitoring application events, resolving errors, and improving operational efficiency.
- Daily meetings will continue to evaluate possible improvements. Webinars will be organized on January 23 and 25 for end users to interact with experts.
- Several changes have been made to the e-Invoice system based on user feedback.
- The system no longer allows duplicate invoices, and work is underway to enable self-invoicing. Over 10 million invoices totaling 45 billion lei have been successfully registered in the system since its mandatory implementation on January 1, 2024.
- The status of sent invoices is updated every 30 minutes. If the national e-Invoice system is not functional for at least 24 hours, the transmission obligation is suspended.
- The deadline for transmitting issued invoices in the system is 5 working days from the date of issue, with no sanctions for non-compliance until March 31, 2024.
