Electronically issued PEM Origin certificates

Recommendation No 1/2023 of the joint committee of the regional convention on PEM preferential rules of origin was published today. The joined committee recommends that the Contracting Parties (continue to) accept movement certificates issued electronically, provided that certain criteria are met. The acceptance was introduced as an exceptional measure during the COVID-19 epidemy and the joint committee recommends continuation based on positive experiences.
