- The Spanish Ministry of Finance has released a Draft Ordinance outlining technical and functional specifications for computer and electronic systems supporting entrepreneurs’ and professionals’ invoicing processes.
- The Ordinance aligns with the standardization of billing record formats and introduces requirements such as QR codes on invoices, certification of billing systems, real-time transmission of billing records to the tax authority, and event detection and recording capabilities.
- The Ordinance also specifies the format, coding, structure, and content of registration/cancellation records.
- It will come into force the day after its publication in the Official State Gazette.
