The Haryana Excise and Taxation Department has introduced a one-time settlement scheme for recovery of outstanding dues under various acts such as VAT, Central Sales Tax, etc. from January 01, 2024. The scheme covers several acts including the Haryana VAT Act, 2003, Central Sales Tax Act, 1956, and others. It is applicable to both registered and unregistered applicants, except those facing criminal proceedings or whose demand relates to erroneous refund. The settlement amount can be paid in lump sum or in instalments, and the last date to file the application is March 31, 2024.
