The Ministry of Finance of Estonia has proposed amendments to the Accounting Act to introduce e-invoicing in business transactions, allowing buyers to demand e-invoices compliant with EN 16931 format from their suppliers in B2B transactions. The implementation of this draft law is expected after 2025 as the proposed amendments have not been adopted yet.
