Taiwan’s National Tax Bureau is offering incentives to profit-seeking enterprises to encourage cooperation with tax audits. These incentives include exemptions from presenting vouchers, a reduced chance of being audited for two years, and the assignment of a dedicated adviser for tax law assistance. However, these incentives do not apply to taxpayers using returns prepared by certified public accountants, educational and charitable organizations, or businesses in liquidation proceedings.
