- Poland has released a draft amendment to the regulation on JPK_VAT, which will be applied in the first stage of mandatory e-invoicing implementation from July 1, 2024.
- The changes include reducing the VAT refund period from 60 to 40 days, introducing JPK_VAT with the announcement of the invoice identification number in KSeF, and marking invoices issued during KSeF failure or unavailability.
- The draft also introduces decisions clarifying existing legal structures and mandatory national e-invoicing system, with automatic verification of consistency between declared and paid VAT and increased accuracy of VAT refund applications.
- The draft regulation is available at https://legislatka.rcl.gov.pl/projekt/12378155.
