The Office of the Commissioner for Tax and Customs in Malta provides electronic services for VAT registered individuals to submit statutory returns and other forms through the VAT online portal. Taxpayers can use their personal e-ID to submit forms themselves or appoint a representative to do so. The portal allows for the submission of VAT returns, adjustments, recapitulative declarations, change of address requests, and call-off stock requests. To submit forms electronically, taxable persons must first register with the Commissioner and file the appropriate form.
