Until 1 June 2024, entrepreneurs who participate in the EU VAT e-Commerce scheme (read: one-stop-shop) will not be fined for a payment default. This was reported by State Secretary Van Rij in a letter to the House of Representatives. The voluntary EU VAT e-Commerce scheme is intended to facilitate international distance selling.
