Egypt’s Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait announced that around 100,000 citizens residing abroad have registered online for the zero-customs car import initiative since it was relaunched last week.
The initiative allows expats to import their personal-use vehicles to Egypt without incurring customs duties, taxes, or value-added tax (VAT).
