The EU Council’s working party on tax meets this week to attempt to find political agreement for two of the 3 pillars of VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA). These are: 2) Platform Economy; and 3) Single VAT Registration. Pillar 1 Digital Reporting Requirements and e-invoicing, (DRR) looks delayed to early 2024, and the implementation date shifted from 2028 to 2030 or even 2032.
