- The OECD has released an update to a frequently asked questions (FAQs) document regarding the application of model reporting rules for digital platform operators.
- The update includes revised and additional FAQs on various topics such as the definition of personal services, platform operators acting as buyers, consideration of known or reasonably knowable information, rental of immovable property, e-commerce service providers, verification of seller information, treatment of vouchers and barter transactions, use of local currencies, and reporting on multiple parties jointly registered as sellers.
- The FAQs apply to both the original model rules and the amended rules with extended scope. The OECD plans to regularly update the FAQs document.
