- Zambia plans to introduce a national e-invoicing system in 2024, which will allow the Zambia Revenue Authority to monitor business transactions in real-time and prevent the use of fake invoices in VAT refund claims.
- The system aims to ensure that only qualified entities can claim deductions and also increase revenue collection from non-established suppliers.
