The Malaysian government has released the 2024 Budget, which is pending parliamentary approval. It includes a new e-Invoicing timeline, with a delay of two months compared to the previous schedule. The budget has been approved, and the new implementation timeline is as follows:
– August 1, 2024: Taxpayers with annual income or sales exceeding RM100 million (previously scheduled for June 2024)
– January 1, 2025: Taxpayers with annual income or sales exceeding RM25 million and up to RM100 million
– July 1, 2025: All taxpayers
