The National e-Invoice System (KSeF) will result in changes in the way invoices are issued to consumers. The new regulations do not allow the issuance of, among others, invoices with utility consumption forecast.
The regulations introducing the obligation to issue invoices by KSeF will apply from July 1, 2024, but entrepreneurs can use it voluntarily from 2022. Small and medium-sized entrepreneurs exempt from VAT have more time. For this group, e-invoices in KSeF will be mandatory from January 1, 2025.
