- The Israeli Tax Authority (ITA) has postponed the mandatory use of clearance e-invoicing for authorized dealers registered in Israel for three months due to the current state of war in Israel.
- The obligation was initially scheduled for 1 January 2024, but has been postponed to 1 April 2024.
- Suppliers can obtain the allocation number voluntarily starting from 1 January 2024, while buyers can deduct VAT even for invoices without an allocation number issued during the period of 1 January to 1 April 2024.
- All invoices must include the allocation number assigned by SHAAM from 1 April 2024.
- The official ITA statement is available on their website.
