- Singapore will adopt the Peppol CTC framework for real-time digital tax controls, with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) implementing it for a more efficient provision of GST data.
- Peppol is known as InvoiceNow in Singapore and will become the default e-invoice submission channel for all government vendors in the next few years.
- IRAS will work with IMDA, the Accountant-General’s Department and businesses to increase the adoption of InvoiceNow for GST administration.
- The Forum of Tax Administration (FTA) Plenary will be held in Singapore in October 2023.
