On Budget Day, the cabinet presented the Tax Plan 2024 with planned measures. As an entrepreneur, for example, you will have to deal with a wider application of the reinvestment reserve in the event of government intervention. But also – less positively – with the reduction of the energy investment deduction and SME profit exemption. VAT rate on agricultural goods and services
Established agricultural goods, including straw, seeds and seed potatoes, are taxed at the reduced VAT rate of 9 percent. As a result of the expiry of the agricultural regulation in VAT, the government therefore proposes to apply the general VAT rate of 1 percent again to the supply of certain agricultural goods from 2025 January 21.
