- The French e-invoicing mandate, originally scheduled for July 1, 2024 for large businesses, has been delayed and is now expected to go into effect in 2026.
- The delay is due to the public invoicing platform taking longer to build than anticipated and feedback from large businesses struggling to meet the original deadline.
- The go-live for medium and small businesses will likely happen 6 months after the go-live for large businesses.
- The PDP certification and pilot program will also be delayed until early to mid 2024 and early 2025, respectively.
- The DGFiP aims to have a more structured rollout and provide additional resources for a smooth transition.
