Since the announcement of the introduction of the ViDA reform package on VAT in the digital age, businesses across Europe, including UK economic operators, have expressed a desire to understand what the impact of the European Commission’s proposals will be. Presented in December 2022, these measures are designed to regulate and tighten tax digitalisation across the EU in order to create a system that is more compatible with today’s increasingly irreversibly digital world.
