- Saudi Arabia’s Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has announced the criteria for resident taxpayers to participate in the eighth wave of e-invoicing integration.
- Taxpayers with taxable revenue exceeding SAR 40 million in VAT returns for 2021 or 2022 must integrate their e-invoicing systems with ZATCA.
- Integration will be available on ZATCA’s Fatoora portal from 1 March 2024, giving taxpayers at least six months to comply.
- ZATCA will notify selected taxpayers about the eighth wave timeline.
- Taxpayers not included in previous waves should plan ahead, as they may be considered for upcoming ones. Proactive preparation is crucial for a smooth compliance process.
