- The Philippines Bureau of Internal Revenue has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 79-2023 on 3 August 2023, announcing that several tax returns are now available for electronic filing and payment through the Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS).
- The tax returns include monthly and quarterly remittance returns for various taxes withheld and percentage tax returns for transactions involving shares of stock.
- The circular is effective immediately for taxpayers required to use the eFPS facility.
