On 25 July 2023, Saudi Arabia’s Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) announced an extension of the tax amnesty program for an additional seven months, from 1 June 2023 until 31 December 2023. This extension provides individuals and businesses with an expanded timeframe to leverage the exemption of fines on specific taxes.
