The Philippines Department of Finance issued a release on 11 August 2023, announcing that an amendment to the implementing rules and regulations of the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) Act has been approved to resolve VAT-related issues concerning both domestic market enterprises and registered export enterprises.
