Traders have been cautioned to ensure they are applying the 15 per cent VAT rate accurately to the price of their goods and services.
In a media statement the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) chief executive officer Joel Abraham said effective from August 1, 2023, the three VAT rates had been replaced with a simplified two VAT rate system.
