More than 3 years have passed since the implementation of the “VAT Refund” project. This project, successfully applied in our country, has yielded significant results in terms of economic transparency. So far, approximately 2.3 million users have registered on the www.edvgerial.az portal to claim a portion of the VAT paid for previously purchased goods. Since the implementation of the “VAT Refund” project until August 1, 2023, a total of 448.2 million manats have been refunded to registered consumers on the portal for over 1 billion receipts. Additionally, during the months of January to July of this year, a VAT amount of 86.7 million manats has been refunded.
