France will introduce mandatory e-invoicing and e-reporting measures from 1st July 2024. The Public Invoicing Portal (PPF) will offer basic services to meet obligations arising from e-invoicing and e-reporting regulations. Enterprises can expand their processes with the help of outside service providers. There are two categories of such entities: Registered private platforms (PDPs) and Dematerializing operators (ODs). PDPs offer direct reporting services in compliance with sector requirements, while ODs offer traditional document dematerialization services. Companies can choose between an OD or PDP based on their current processes and future needs. PDPs offer features like direct invoice exchange, solution continuity, solution universality, data accuracy, and seamless reporting and data extraction.
