- The implementation of electronic invoicing has been delayed by the French government, with the original date of 1 July 2024 now unknown.
- The government plans to discuss the reform with businesses and will define a new timetable during the adoption of the Finance Law for 2024 or the amending Finance Law for 2023 in December 2023.
- It is possible that electronic invoicing will become voluntary from 1 July 2024 and mandatory from 1 January 2026.
- More information is expected to be provided by the government in September 2023.
