The Prime Minister in May 2023 issued Official Telegram 470/CD-TTg on the continuing implementation of measures and tasks to ease difficulties for businesses. The Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Finance to conduct appropriate examination and evaluation and urged the General Department of Taxation (GDT) to take actions to process the value added tax (VAT) refund dossiers submitted by taxpayers in a timely and effective manner.
