Sales to other taxpayers should generally be documented with an invoice, while sales to private individuals require a fiscal receipt (although there are exceptions even in this case). However, VAT regulations do not prohibit sales to taxpayers from being additionally recorded in a cash register. In such a situation, the seller prepares two documents: an invoice and a receipt.
