The VAT Act will no longer be modified in terms of e-invoices. Experts advise to prepare for new solutions.
The provisions on the National e-Invoices System will remain in the form adopted by the Sejm. Last week, the Senate dealt with the relevant amendment to the VAT Act, but rejected it in its entirety. The reason was objections to the unconstitutional mode of publishing templates of e-invoices and other documents. This means that the Sejm may accept the Senate’s resolution and throw the bill into the trash. He may also reject the position of the senators, which is more likely given the current balance of political forces.
In this way, it is already known that the date for which the launch of the new system was set will be July 1, 2024.
