- E-Invoicing will be mandatory in Ghana from July 1, 2023, for 650 large taxpayers selected by the government.
- The E-VAT system was introduced in October 2022 to improve invoicing for VAT transactions, and it applies to invoices, credit notes, and inventory and purchase information.
- The implementation is phased, with large taxpayers already invited to issue electronic invoices since October 2022, medium taxpayers joining in 2023, and all companies required to comply from 2024.
