- France’s new electronic invoice system, effective from January 2024, will use a new transmission method called the “Y”-Model.
- This system will have three main operators: PDP, OD, and PPF.
- SNI is in the process of becoming one of the PDPs, which requires submission of reports, certificates, and documentations set by DGFIP.
- The ODs offer management services to companies for the management of issued and received invoices and cannot send e-invoices directly to recipients.
- The PPF serves as a public platform for B2B and B2C transactions, with delivery and reporting processes done automatically in DGFIP.
- Only Factur-X, UBL, or CII formats can be used to send invoices through the PPF.
