Zero VAT rate on food, which was previously covered by 5%. tax rate, has been in force since February last year. This rule will be maintained until the end of 2023. As emphasized by the Ministry of Finance, maintaining a zero tax rate in the first six months of 2023 is about six billion more in citizens’ wallets.
