The Kuyavian-Pomeranian National Revenue Administration (KAS) and the Central Police Investigation Bureau (CBŚP) detained 14 people suspected of participating in an organized criminal group.Members of the group issued and used “empty” invoices in trade, e.g. electronics and personal protective equipment – related to the COVID-19 pandemic. In this way, they lowered the taxes due.The State Treasury could lose about PLN 20 million in this procedure.
