The Ministry of Finance has announced the amendment of the Revenue Code and Value Added Tax (VAT) regulations, specifically concerning exemptions for VAT. The announcement cancels Section 521 of the Ministry of Finance’s announcement regarding income tax and VAT, which pertains to exemptions for public welfare organizations, hospitals, and educational institutions. The amendment refers to the revised version of the VAT exemption, issued in 2534 B.E., which was further amended by the Royal Decree on the VAT exemption, issued in 2535 B.E. The Minister of Finance declares the cancellation of Section 521, and the announcement comes into effect from May 19, 2554 B.E.
