- Belgium will end the reduced VAT rate on gas and electricity on June 30, 2023, returning to the standard rate of 21% from July 1, 2023.

- Cyprus has reduced the VAT rate to 0% on certain items including bread, baby food, chocolate, milk, feminine products, and nappies until October 31, 2023.
- Finland has ended the reduced and zero VAT rate on electricity and public transport, with electricity returning to the standard rate of 24% and public transport returning to the reduced rate of 10% from May 1, 2023.
- Slovenia has submitted a proposal to extend the reduced VAT rate for energy products until December 31, 2023, as the previous reduced rate of 9.5% expired on May 31, 2023.
