VAT rate will increase from 20% to 22% starting 1 January 2024, but contracts made before 1 May 2023 with a VAT-inclusive price using the old rate can still apply it. The reduced VAT rate for accommodation services providers will go up from 9% to 13% starting 1 January 2025 instead of being eliminated. The reduced VAT rate of 5% for certain press publications is removed and is now subject to the 9% reduced rate.
