- Turkey has had an e-Invoicing system since 2014, managed by the Turkish Revenue Administration (TRA).
- The TRA has published a QR Code Standard Guideline, which requires taxpayers to include a QR code in electronic documents.
- Taxpayers who integrate their systems with special integrators must make necessary improvements.
- The e-Invoice system is used for B2B and B2G transactions, while the E-Archive system is used for B2C transactions and B2B transactions where customers do not reach the e-invoice registration threshold. E-Delivery Notes report product movements.
- The QR Code Standard Guide will come into effect on September 1, 2023.
