- Japan has imposed further sanctions against Russia, designating 17 individuals and 78 entities related to the country, as well as seven individuals directly related to the “annexation” of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol or the destabilization of eastern Ukraine.
- Restrictions have been placed on payments and capital transactions, while an export ban has been imposed on 80 designated entities of the Russian Federation.
- An export ban on industrial infrastructure reinforcement related goods to Russia has also been introduced, along with a service ban on construction and engineering services. The details of the latter two measures will be announced later.
