In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, within the framework of the “Reclaim VAT” project, in the months of January-April 2023, more than 157.1 thousand manats were refunded to consumers on a total of 545,232 cashier’s checks, and in April of the current year, more than 52.6 thousand manats were refunded on 182,721 cashier’s checks. . Compared to January, there was a 3.9-fold increase in cashier’s checks and a 2.5-fold increase in the returned amount in April.It should be noted that currently 17.5 percent of the VAT paid in cash and 5 percent of the VAT paid in cash are returned to consumers.
