The GST system has introduced a new API to retrieve a list of rejected IRNs. It is mandatory to provide the country code under the category ‘EXPWP and EXPWOP export details’ for export transactions. Taxpayer applications generating erroneous hits to the GST E Way Bill and GST eInvoice systems may be blocked and will receive error codes and messages. NIC has provided a testing environment for taxpayers to test their integration before going live. Ignoring error codes and resending erroneous requests multiple times can cause inconvenience to other users and affect the performance of the GST system. Large numbers of unproductive hits may result in Denial of Service (DoS) and affect the infrastructure hosting the API services.
