During the Ecofin Council of 16 May 2023, the Swedish presidency aims to reach an agreement on the draft directive DAC8, which includes, among other things, the mandatory data exchange for crypto assets. This is stated in the annotated agenda of the Ecofin Council, which was sent to the House of Representatives by Finance Minister Kaag. The Netherlands intends to agree to the compromise.
