A “Mobile VAT Booth” has been launched in Sylhet by the Customs, Excise and VAT Commissionerate to provide VAT-related services to traders and consumers. The booth offers online VAT registration, submission, return submission, invoice issuance, and answers to queries related to Musak and Supplementary Duties. The Commissioner of Sylhet Customs, Excise and VAT Commissionerate inaugurated the booth and stated that it aims to popularize the VAT system and increase awareness among traders and consumers. Business leaders appreciated the initiative and requested regular organization of such activities.
