The German Tax Authority (DE TA) has advised those who have received payment reminders from other Member States to first check whether they have paid the declared taxes for the relevant quarter in full to the Federal Treasury Trier. If this is the case, it is recommended to reply to the Member State in response to the reminder that the tax payment has already been made to Germany. In general, it is not necessary to inform the Federal Central Tax Office about the payment reminder received.
